Thought I would make a simple bookmark for the Cricut Cardz Challenge #64 this week. I got this paperstack last week at Joanns and it is some of the prettiest paper I have seen by K&Company. I believe it is their garden collection. 104 pieces including tags and borders along with beautiful papers, many with foil. The one I used actually has some foil accents but they don't show up as well in a picture. I found the biggest challenge here was photographing the project. Bookmarks need books. Here is mine.
Recipe:
TBBM cartridge Row 1, Key 7
and
Row 3, Key 6 (flower tag)
I welded them together and sized it at 6.32.
I hid all the tag holes
Green cardstock from Stampin UP.
I cut two full tags, One in dsp and one in cardstock.
Martha Stewart punch on the dsp.
Three additional flowers cut at 2.41, 2 and 1.5 to layer
I curled the flowers around a pencil, punched holes in all layers and attached with a brad.
Finally a little stitching along the green edge
Well you can see I like "chick" books. I have to be honest, I haven't started this book yet. My BF gave me three of her books to read. READ...........who has time to read with all this blogging. Besides when it is 83 outside, I don't want to be inside reading.
This was fun. Have to search for some more challenges, so I will probably be back later after I mow the lawn.
See Ya............play nice
Really cute bookmark, love the colors and the flowers. Oh and the book too.
