Pumpkin Shaped Fall Card and a Cute A Cute Altering Project

Hi Everyone.  Wow I was on a role today.  Two projects.  The first is a fall card made in the shape of a pumpkin.  Don't know why I was making a fall card. Guess it was just wishful thinking.  96 here today and thunderstorms.  The second was just a whim.  I had this Laughing Cow cheese box and thought there must be something I can do with this.  What do you think?  Here is the card

Designer paper from K and Co.
Cardstock from Stampin Up
Cut at 4.25 x 5.5
Welded using my gypsy
Embossed pumpkin on the side.
Video below shows the process

OK now on to the Cheese Box

Wow that's a lot.  Think I will go rest now.
See you later ...................play nice.

Greeting Card with gift card holder

Hello All,
Hope everyone on the east coast made out alright with Irene.  Well I actually made these cards Friday or Friday and Saturday.  I tried to make the video and messed up so badly that I had to start again.  The second time I finished 3/4 of the card and the camera ran out of battery.........UGH.  So on to Saturday when I made the video for the third time.  Guess what..................toooooo long.  Oh my goodness what a time.  Anyway they are finally ready.  This is a little different as the card also serves as a gift card holder.  I am entering it into the Paper Cutz Challenge HERE.  The theme is a project using stars.  Here are some of the cards.  The third is on the video.  I explain the folding etc. on the video.

These are fun to make and can be used for any occasion.

That's all for now.  See your later.  Play nice.

Birthday Card using George and Basic Shapes

Wow remembered at the last minute that I need a birthday card for a friend in Connecticut.  Grabbed my George and Basic Shapes and put together this simple but cute card.  I think she will like it.

This is an A2 size card.  All the paper is from my scrap pile except the pink card base (recollections).
I used my gypsy to grab a rectangle and sized it to 4 x 5.25.  Then used the george rounded square and sized three of them to fit across my card.  Cut out the flower and the star.  Cut the flower in half and made two bows.  I just used the star a little crooked. I cuttlebuged happy birthday on white cardstock and punched a piece of green patterned paper with a Martha Stewart punch.  Added a little stickles and that's all she wrote.
I am going to enter this in the Birthday Sundaes challenge this week.  It is a color challenge green, pink and white.  You can see all the entries HERE.
The video below shows the process as well as the first stages of my grand-daughter's senior year mini album.

Birthday Card Using the Cricut Bloom Cartridge

Hi everyone.
Here is the first card I made using the Cicut Bloom cartridge.  I love love the fence on this cart.  I can see a lot more possibilities for cards.  There is even a topiary tree which would work for a Christmas card. I think it came out super cute:

This is an A2 card.  I put all the demensions on my youtube video below.  Still having problems showing the screen of my gypsy.  I think the overhead light is causing too much glare.  Obviously I didn't even get it in frame this time but I would like to show the screen.  Any ideas?

That's all for now
See you later..............play nice.

I'm Back!!!!

Good afternoon and a rainy one at that.  Well I am back.  We returned from Massachusetts Tuesday.  This is one of the reasons we went, along with seeing family.  My 48th class reunion.   I know, there are not that many people in the picture but we only had 48 to start with.  In case you are wondering, I am the shy unassuming BRIGHT YELLOW CANARY on the right.

Good time had by all.  I also had my great big New England Fried Clam Plate. (don't tell my WW leader ok?)  Yum!!!  Well back to work.  I will soon be busy with craft fairs so I need to dig out my stash and see where I stand.  I am also going to start an Esty shop soon.
Went to Walmart Wednesday to grocery shop and just happen to spot some cricut cartridges on clearance.  Picked up Bloom for $20.00.  Will be back soon with a couple of projects from that cart.
Glad to be home.
Will see you later...................play nice
