Today's Teriffic Tuesday's Challenge Birthday Card

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday.  Well I have been busy this week and not with niceys (I don't think that's a word).  I have never minded growing older cause it is all in the plan.  I usually try to do it gracefully and embrace all the new chapters in my life.  Well here comes another one.  I am not sure I am ready for the parts replacement chapter but that is what is happening.  Need a new knee.  This week I have been going to MDs and getting all the tests for medical clearance.  Blah.............................. I want to get in some crafting between appointments, but they don't care about coordinating for my sake.  Oh well.  I did get this card made for the Terrific Tuesdays challenge over at Scrappy Moms.  I don't have B is for Boy or Sugar and Spice but I do know there is a wagon on Sugar and spice so I used the one from Create a Critter.  I love the way it came out.  What do you think?

Recipe:
A2 size card
Blue cardstock from Stampin Up
All the rest is from my scraps
Wagon cut at 3 1/2 inches
I put glossy accents on the wheels and handle to give it some dimension
The packages are just scraps cut to different sizes and decked out with ribbon.
Cute huh?
Well I am off to play with my camera and try to make a video.  I am still having trouble getting the right angle.  I have the flip and a 50 inch tripod.  Janice over at http:// Cricutology.blogspot.com uses this, but I don't know how she gets the angle from behind her.  Anyone got suggestions?  Thanks
See you later..............play nice

Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hi  Everyone.  I am back today with a card for the Terrific Tuesday Challenge with Scrappy Moms.  See it HERE.  I made this card for my favorite guy.  The card is a little non-traditional in color but who says everything must be pink or red?  I have to tell you that by the time we get through Christmas, New Years, and Valentine's Day I am ready to use anything EXCEPT pink or red.  Bring on St. Patrick's green!!   I think the card came out pretty cute.  What do you think?

The cardstock is from Stampin Up Retired colors.  the DSP is from last year's K & Company 8.5 designer pad.
I don't have the sweethearts cartridge but I believe there is a heart and a key on it.  I got this heart from Create A Critter cut at 2.56 and the key is from Gypsy Wanderings cut at 2.32.  The sentiment is an old stamp with no manufacturer listed.  I love making step cards.  Actually I love making any kind.  This post is late in the day because my muse was sleeping...............or something.  I added a paper doily behind the heart, some bling to the heart along with gel pen stitching.  The key has silver glitter to give it more of a metallic look.
Well that's all for now.
Bye for now........play nice
