Just a Chat
Hi Everyone,
Well I have been missing in acton lately. I really have been crafting. I will post a picture of my Halloween Top Hat Mini Album later today.
I took on a volunteer job here in the community we live in. A BEAUTIFUL manufactured home community in SW Florida with over 1100 homes. I am now the editor of the monthly newsletter. Quite a job. Just finnished sending out the first edition.(700).
That is in addition to the 700 coming from the printer. WELL, I have been called many things but not a spammer. Seems the mail carrier doesn't appreciate my 700 emails. Will have to upgrade to a business account next month.
Anyway, now I have a little time before I have to get the December edition done so back to crafting.
See you all later and play nice.

Altered Bird House for Wedding Anniversary
Hi Everyone,
Sorry I have not been on the blog lately, but I really have been busy crafting. I have been making several videos that you can see here but I just haven't written about them.
Today I am sharing a bird house project I just completed. This is for a couple we know who are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. I am fairly new to altering products. As you know I am usually making cards or minis. I am super pleased with the way it came out. Here are the pictures

Sorry this took so long. It took me 5 tries to upload the video.............UGH!!

Making cards from leftover Mini Album Paper
Hi All
Don't we just all have tons of scraps. I showed a video a couple of days ago of a mini album I had just completed. I was using a 6x6 pack and decided I was going to use up the rest of the paper making cards. I did one video showing the first card. You can see that here .
I just finnished seven more cards and I think I only have two pieces of paper left Hooray!! no scraps. I love the way they came out. See them below.
This is the first card. I used one of the frame sheets and created a spot for a stamped image. Stamp is from Katie and Company. All the papers are from the Prima "Peaches" 6x6 stack.
The two cards of the left also used a frame mat. First is an embossed Geisha girl (very subtle), the middle card is a stamped image that I colored with water colored pencils and blended, and on the right a Hello card with the lantern paper.
These two sympathy cards used some of the prints. On the left a gold embossed floral and on the right a stamp that resembles the flowers on the paper.
The last three (includes the original card) came out really cute also. I love the banners in the middle. Made from cutting squares into triangles, Letters from an alpha sheet I have. On the left I added flowers and a leaf to the background.
That's it. I will post a video showing these more clearly as soon as I can get it uploaded.
See you soon.............play nice

On Going projects
Hi everyone
Well it is HOT here in Florida. But I guess it still doesn't compair with the extreme heat in the mid-west. At least I can stay inside and craft. I am including some pictures of some of the projects I have been playing with. Some are for Christmas and others will be in my craft shows. This post is picture heavy...........hang in there.
Theses are some "Country Casual" wine glasses I made for our son and his wife who own property and a new cottage. Fun huh! Ball jars and candle holders. Look pretty country to me.
Paper Bag Mini to go with the glasses for Christmas. Still a work in progress.
Altered frame with bling mesh and earrings that I made for a grand-daughter. I originally saw this on YouTube done by NurseTara04. Check her out.
Box album. Actually a prototype from a video I saw on YouTube from Angelwings14100. Check her out, she is amazing. I did this before the tutorial but think I did pretty good.
I made a video of these but I am still struggling with camera placement in my new room. Take a look.

I can't believe my own eyes
OMG check out the video below on my previous post. I got a call from a girlfriend that I had created a picture of the statue of David. Pause the video of the clouds before I add anything and look for yourself. I thought she had hit the vodka a little early but I did not believe what I saw. If you have trouble start at the bottom where you can see a "neck" then follow up to mouth nose eyes forehead and hair. Guess I'm a better artist than I thought LOL

Great News and Inside Out Cards
Hi everyone. First some GREAT news. There is a new Hobby Lobby opening this fall about 10 miles from my house. Oh my..........I better start saving now. We currently have a Michaels which is OK and an original Joanns (not one of the super stores) They have a very limited craft inventory. Finally a store that has a little bit (or a lot) of everything. Can't wait.
Secondly: Below is a video I posted today showing some Inside Out cards. Check it out and see what I mean.
These are fun to make and I can think of a lot of other cartridges that could be used. Try them out and have fun.
Back later with some other projects I have been working on: You know Christmas is just around the corner if you're a crafter.

Hi Everyone,
Wow it has been a while. Today I am making a Welcome to your New Home Card for friends of ours that live in Canada during the summer and here in Florida in the Winter. This is the first time I have used blogger since the format changed and already I wiped our my signature. Oh well, I will figure it out sooner or later. Anyway the card today is an A2 size. I think the post on the birdhouse is a cute touch. What do you think?
The paper is all from recolections
Stamp is from All Night Media and I have had it for a long time.
Grass cut from Create a Critter
Sentiment is computer generated.
You can watch the process below:
Thanks for watching.

Embossing on dark cardstock
Hello and Wow!! It sure has been awhile since I have been here. This place is soooooooooooooo busy that we have been out and about almost every day. Just haven't been able to get back into the routine. Now that we are playing golf 3-4 times a week, I think it is the perfect opportunity for me to do my blogging when my hubby is doing his golfing thing.
Today I made an anniversary card using a technique somewhat like one over on split coast stampers. This is embossing and coloring on dark cardstock. Not a new technique but one I haven't used in a while.
Check out the cards.

Thank you card and organization tip
Hi all and welcome to my first official craft blog for 2012. Now that my craft room is empty of moving boxes, I can get back to work.
The first card I making is a thank you card. We all need lots of these after the Holiday season. Mine is actually for a friend that brought me a house warming present shortly after we moved in.
Just a simple card but I love this stamp.

A2 size card
The dsp is from K I Designs bold and brights.
Stamp is from Me and my Big Ideas.
The organizational tip is for storing all your pass words. Instead of putting them in a long list, try using a small address book and alphabetize them. Easy easy retrieval.
That's all for now. Check out the video

Here I come again
Hello everyone.
Hope you all had a great holiday season and are ready to tackle 2012. I am charging up the camera battery and hope to be back with videos today or tomorrow. It has been a while and quite a whirl-wind. Nov. 15th we decided to list our house for sale. It sold in 3 weeks. By December 15th we were living in our new place. We moved ourselves, so the insuing 4 weeks between Nov and Dec, we packed moved and began the unpacking. Of course Christmas fell shortly thereafter. WELL, we are finally just about finnished with the unpacking and arranging so I can get back to fun. My new craft room was actually the staging area so it was wall to wall boxes for a week or so.
