Twisted Easel Card

Hi everyone.  Well it is great to finally be back.  Before I show you my cards, I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers following my knee surgery.  I am doing great.  5 weeks out and released from therapy and allowed to play golf.  Wonder if it will improve my game.
One to the cards.  I was watching Mary over at cardz tv this morning and she did a twisted easel card.  I loved the look so I wanted to give it a try.  I made one for my sister's birthday next week and one for my son and his wife for their anniversary next month.  What do you think?

The paper is from Kand Co.  I love the way these open.  One I used a stamp from Katie and Co. and the other I "cricutized" using the preserves cartridge cut at 3 inches.  Also used an action wobble on the pears.

Disney Blog Hop

Hi everyone welcome to my blog and the Disney Blog Hop.  If you arrived here from super talented Julie's site you are in the right place.  If you just happend to stop by my blog for a look see, feel free but be sure to head over to Sylvia's blog to start at the beginning.  You won't want to miss any of these very talented crafters.
For my project I thought I would make a wall hanging that I could send to my grand-daughter.  She visited last year and we spent some time at Disney World.  She is a fan of all things Disney.  This is meant to be expandable with places to put Disney charms, pins etc.  I plan to send additional Disney characters which then can be added with just a punched hole.  Hope you all like it

I used the gypsy to size the different componants so they would fit.  As you can see, this is expandable.  Something we can work on together.  All pieces from the Mickey Font Cart.
