Shutter Easter Card

Well hello everyone?  I am a little punch drunk( is that what I am drinking)? After watching the video you will understand.  I made this shutter card for my sister Janet and her husband for Easter.  They live in Maine so I bet anything that looks springy is welcome.  John is an Episcopalian priest and I thought they would like this card.  I have to tell you that the card came out beautiful but the video belongs on comedy central.  I could have done it over but why not show the "real me".   I promise that I did get it right later.  Check it out.
Oh I think I will play along with the Scrappy sisters challenge called think spring.  Have a look.

I am not going to give a recipe as I go over it in the video.  I forgot to give the measurments(amoung other things) so I included a picture of the template.
Hope you like it.  Let me know.

Thanks for stopping by
See Ya..........play nice

  5. Hi Donna ... We share that challenge of trying to figure out how to trim the videos down. So far, I remain video-challenged myself. I find myself spending more time on creating the tutorial videos than on the project. When I look back over my videos, I laugh at how awful my bitten nails look and how chubby my hands are ... what a chubby monkey I am!! LOL.

Oh well. Stop by my blog later this week, maybe tomorrow, when I post my video on making a spinner card. Talk about BLOOPERS!!! (-:

I enjoy your sense of humor in your annotations!!

  6. I like your sense of humor in the video comments...I still haven't worked up the courage to even try to do a video yet. I think I will try to make one of these cards later this week (it looks like a good way to use up some small coordinating scraps).

  7. The card looks fabulous!! Unfortunately I'm on our house computer and it has no sound since JR (my two year old) last messed with it so I can't hear the video :(
